Kenanga Becomes Signatory Of Women’s Empowerment Principles
Already with a gender balanced workforce of 51% female, Kenanga further solidifies our commitment towards promoting gender equality by becoming a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
Established jointly by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and UN Women, the WEPs advocates the adoption of seven (7) principles that businesses can deliver on, as outlined in the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development and in the 17 SDGs.
There are currently over 7,000 signatories globally, with 103 from Malaysia.
Happy International Women’s Day!
